2 Seriously Hurt In Overnight Route 78 Crash Two drivers were seriously hurt in an overnight crash on Route 78, authorities said. A Ford F-350 heading east entered the shoulder and struck a Ford Crown Victoria stopped in the right shoulder around 12:50 a.m. near milepost 21.1 in Clinton Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. Both drivers sustained serious injuries. Unconfirmed reports say at least one was airlifted.

Pregnant Wife Of PA Firefighter Dies In Crash The pregnant wife of a Pennsylvania firefighter died in a car crash last week, authorities said. Kellie Adams, of Lansdale, and the baby girl she was expecting with husband Jason died in a crash on Thursday, Aug. 25, according to her obituary. Kellie and Jason, married for eight years, also shared two boys together. Jason is a firefighter in Upper Providence Township. PA Driver Dies, Driver Changing Tire Hurt In Atlantic City Expressway Crash A Pennsylvania driver died and another changing a tire on the side of the Atlantic City Expressway was seriously hurt in a crash Friday, Aug. 26, authorities said. The pedestrian was changing a tire on a Ford Explorer in the right shoulder when a GMC Yukon driven by Steven Ray Davis Jr, 43, of Downingtown, PA, crashed into the Ford and overturned, New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. The incident happened at milepost 36.3 in Winslow Township around 10 p.m., police said. Davis was pronounced dead while the pedestrian was treated for serious injuries at a local hospital.

Fast-Casual Middle Eastern Restaurant Coming To Route 17 A fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant will be joining several other newly-opened restaurants on Route 17, BoozyBurbs reports. Naya will be opening in the shopping center at 305 Route 17 south. Customers can choose a pita, rice bowl or salad, then load it up with protein and veggies. Off-Duty Jersey City Officer Burned At Crash Scene When Car Passes Road Flare In Kearny An off-duty Jersey City police officer was seriously burned while assisting at a crash scene in Kearny, when another driver passed road flares sparking a fire, authorities said. The officer was helping at the two-car crash near 1249 Newark- Jersey City Turnpike around 11:30 Thursday, Aug. 25, when a 2017 white Mercedes passed the flare and caused a nearby car to go up in flames, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. 20-Year-Old Man Killed Walking On Garden State Parkway A 20-year-old man was struck and killed by a Jeep while he was walking on the Garden State Parkway early Saturday, Aug. 27, authorities said. Zachary Fulmer, of Marmora, was heading south in the northbound lanes when he was hit near milepost 28.5, in Somers Point around 2:43 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. It wasn't clear if the driver remained at the scene. Fulmer was pronounced dead.

Arrest Made In Murder Of Summit Woman A Summit man has been charged in the stabbing death of a 28-year-old woman, authorities announced. Ramunas Katkus stabbed Angelika K. Miles dead on the 500 block of Ferry Street in Newark on Friday, Aug. 25 around 3:45 a.m., Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G.
