Here's When Thunderstorms Expected To Sweep Region Strong winds and tornados are possible in this afternoon's storm heading to the region, forecasters say. Heavy rain is expected to begin falling in the northwestern part of the New Jersey, and parts of Pennsylvania between 3 and 5 p.m., the National Weather Service said. The storm will begin elsewhere between 4 and 8 p.m. Large hail, flash flooding, and wind gusts up to 60 mph are likely. Western NJ is at an "enhanced" risk for strong storms while the eastern side is at a "slight" risk.

One Dead In Howard County Crash (Developing) One fatality was reported in a Route 70 crash in Howard County Sunday, May 15, developing reports say. The crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. just before Woodbine Road. Two entrapments were reported. Police did not immediately respond to Daily Voice's information request.

PA Woman Secretly Ordered $1,500 In Food Using Friend's Debit Card For Months A 28-year-old Pennsylvania woman was arrested for using an acquaintance's debit card stored on her phone to order more than $1,500 worth of food for months, authorities said. Maranda L. Kachel made the orders using the stored card number between January and March 2022, Ephrata police said. She was charged with access device fraud, police said.

Bridge Jumper Rescued From Susquehanna River: Officials A man was pulled from the Susquehanna River Saturday, May 14 in Harrisburg, fire officials said. The man had jumped into the river from the Market Street bridge, bringing Box 9 to the scene with mutual aid boats, the fire department said. Missing Woman, 33, Found Dead In Virginia (Update) A 33-year-old woman reported missing was found dead in Virginia, authorities said. Kelley Muscara's body was found the morning of Saturday, May 14 by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in the area of Kincora Drive in Sterling, they said. Investigators believe there was no foul play involved in Muscara's death and are ruling it as accidental, the office said on Monday. Police ID 29-Year-Old Driver Dead In Wrong-Way Route 80 Crash A 29-year-old wrong-way driver who was struck by a tractor-trailer on Route 80 in Morris County died of his injuries, authorities said. Angelo F. Atienza was heading west in the eastbound lanes in a Toyota Rav4 when he drove head-on into an International tractor and semi-trailer around 4 a.m., Saturday, May 14, New Jersey State Police said. The crash occurred near milepost 46.2 in Parsippany, police said. The man's identification has not been made public.
