A 22-year-old New Jersey police officer died in a motorcycle crash last week, authorities confirmed. Daniel Adler, of the Camden County Police Department, was struck by a vehicle while riding on Route 561 Thursday, May 12 in Cherry Hill, those who knew him said. Pickup Driver Dead In Glen Burnie Crash
A 65-year-old Bowie man died in a crash Saturday just after midnight in Glen Burnie, authorities said. Kurt Ignatius Johnson was heading north on West Nursery Road approaching River Road when he lost control on a curve and struck a utility pole around 12:10 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police said. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department extricated Johnson, who was taken to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. One Dead, One Hurt In Daytime Camden Shooting
One person died and another was injured in a Camden shooting Saturday, May 14, authorities said. Yahmir Catoe, 18, was found lying on the ground at a park near the 1000 block of Lakeshore Drive suffering gunshot wounds around 10:20 a.m., Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 4:20 p.m. A 21-year-old Camden man also suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was transported to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. One person was struck and killed by a freight train Friday, May 13 in Berks County, multiple news outlets are reporting. The victim was struck at Allentown Pike and Park Road in Ontelaunee around 11 p.m. The coroner was called to the scene. No further details were available.

Police ID Pregnant Woman Who Was Killed In Baltimore Shooting
Authorities have identified the pregnant woman who gave birth and then died after being shot in a vehicle in Baltimore. Angel Morgan Heather Smith, 38, and the man were rushed to the hospital after being shot around 8:15 p.m. on the 300 block of E. 23rd Street, police said. The man was immediately pronounced dead. Three people have been arrested in connection with a home invasion shooting that injured a 28-year-old Passaic man earlier this month, authorities said. A 26-year-old Union City man wanted out of North Carolina for armed robbery has been charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, authorities said. A 23-year-old Irvington man was shot and killed this week in Newark, authorities said. Jahque Benbow was found suffering from gunshot wounds when police responded to a call of shots fired on the 500 block of Grove Street around 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
