DC Mom Who Put Infant Son's Body In Dumpster Stabbed Dead By Baby's Dad: Reports The Washington DC mom accused of hiding the body of her deceased infant son was stabbed dead by the boy's father, according to authorities and recent news reports. Carl Jones, 44, is believed to have stabbed Ladonia Boggs dead in an apartment on the 1500 block of Benning Road on Wednesday, April 27, the Metropolitan Police Department said. This Virginia High School Was Just Named The Best In America By US News A high school in Virginia was named the top school in American by US News. In releasing its latest rankings on best high schools in the US, the website put Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria at No. 1. The STEM school beat out 17,843 nationally-ranked schools and 323 schools ranked in Virginia, according to US News. Minorities comprise 81.7% of the school's enrollment, and had a 100% rate of test proficiency in math, reading and science among students, US News says. Newark Vet Charged With Animal Cruelty After 2 Dogs Die In His Care, Prosecutor Says A veterinarian in Newark has been charged with animal cruelty after two dogs died in his care, authorities said.
