Family Sought For Bonded PA Dogs Who 'Need To Work On Dieting'
A pair of dogs whose owner went into a nursing home are in need of a forever home, according to their Bucks County-based rescue. Nikki and Fluffy are bonded 9-year-old Collie mixes, according to Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown. They are described as being "very sweet dogs who would love a new home together where they can spend their days napping together and going for walks." A 1,700-pound shark was tracked along the New Jersey coastline earlier this week. Mahone, a white shark, was pinged off the coast of Cape May on Dec. 7 just after 10 p.m., according to shark research group OCEARCH. PA Man Killed By Car In South Jersey Loved By Many
A 45-year-old man from Pennsylvania was struck and killed by a car while walking Thursday night in South Jersey, local police said. Michael D. Geisler, of Pittsburgh, was trying to cross Greentree Road near Heritage Valley Drive when a 2015 Volkswagen heading westbound on Greentree struck him around 11:45 p.m., Washington Township police said.
