Teen Sentenced In Stabbing Death Of Dad, Beloved Jersey Shore Taxi Driver 'Moe Cabbie' A 15-year-old boy has been sentenced to 11 years of custody under the Juvenile Justice Commission in connection with the stabbing death of his dad, a popular and beloved taxi driver on the Jersey Shore. North Jersey Cook Charged With Raping Child: Prosecutor A 46-year-old cook from Essex County was arrested for raping a child in Bergen County, authorities announced. Keen-Eyed Dispatcher Nabs Woman Stealing From Wayne PD Toys For Tots Donation Bin: Authorities A Paterson woman waiting to meet someone in the lobby of the Wayne police station was busted by a keen-eyed dispatcher stealing more than $155 worth of toys from the "Toys for Tots" donation bin. Rasha Elsayed was captured on security cameras exiting the lobby to the corridor of the Town Hall and remove 10 different toys from the bins on Friday, Dec. 3 around 5 p.m., Police Chief Jack McNiff said. Fire That Left Jersey City Man Critical Probed By Arson Task Force: Prosecutor An apartment fire that left a Jersey City man in critical condition is being investigated as possible arson, authorities announced. The 64-year-old victim was found in his Apartment 206 at 92 Danforth Ave. by firefighters around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The blaze was contained to that unit and the victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition as of Thursday, Suarez said. 'The Lumineers' Film Latest Music Video At Ramsey High School -- Their Alma Mater "The Lumineers" took a quick trip back to Bergen County for the filming of their latest music video, A.M. Radio, as originally reported by NorthJersey.com. Lead singer Wesley Schultz and band member Jeremiah Fraites graduated from Ramsey High School in 2001 and 2005, respectively. A ballerina twirling on the auditorium stage, the football team running laps around the field and students chatting in the library are just some of the scenes shot inside of the bandmate's alma mater. Man Struck By Train In Glen Rock Service was suspended to New Jersey Transit's Main Line after a man was struck by a train Thursday morning. The incident occurred in Glen Rock at 176 Rock Road, suspending service between Ridgewood and Paterson around 8 a.m., local police and NJ Transit officials said. The victim was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. There were no reported injuries to the 15 commuters or crew on board of the train, Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackerman said. Inmate Charged With Murder For Stabbing Fellow Prisoner Dead At Essex County Jail: Prosecutor A prisoner at the Essex County Jail was charged with murder for the stabbing death of another inmate, authorities announced. Ashton D. Barthelus, 26, of Carteret, stabbed Dan G. Milford Gelin, 27, of Elizabeth, at the correctional facility last week, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, said.
