First Snowfall Expected Across Region Wednesday The first snowfall of the season was expected to make its way to the region Wednesday morning. Only one to three inches were expected across New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania with temps in the low 30s overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, meteorologists say. Man Struck, Killed By Train In Asbury Park A man was struck and killed by a train Sunday night in Asbury Park, authorities said. The man was struck along the North Jersey Coast Line tracks near First Avenue around 9:55 p.m., New Jersey Transit spokesman Jim Smith said. New Jersey Transit police are investigating what train may have been involved.  North Jersey Coast Line rail service was suspended in both directions between Long Branch and Bay Head.  New Jersey Transit police were on scene leading the investigation.

Staten Island Man Found Dead In Car On NJ Turnpike A 48-year-old Staten Island man was found dead in his car on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Troopers found Gerald D'Aniello unresponsive in his black sedan parked on the ramp  of interchange 7A on the shoulder in Robbinsville around 10:30 Friday, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said.
