Neighbors of one Doylestown community called 911 after being woken up by screams coming from inside a burning house that left one person dead early Sunday morning. The house at 5777 Private Dr., was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived around 3:15 a.m., Buckingham Township police said. The homeowner told responders outside saying someone else was still inside, but the house was fully involved with flames and smoke, preventing units from entering. Mom Stabs 5-Month-Old Daughter Dead: Salem County Prosecutor
A 26-year-old Penns Grove mom has been charged in the stabbing death of her 5-month-old child, authorities announced Saturday. Kristhie I. Alcazar, 26, was arrested on murder charges after her daughter was found with stab wounds on Friday, Dec. 3, the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. Police responded to an open 911 call with audible disturbance in the background. Police Helicopter Helps Nab Thieves In Stolen Bergen County Car: Newark Authorities
A Newark police helicopter helped track a pair of car thieves in an SUV stolen out of Bergen County, authorities said. The copter spotted a gray Alfa Romeo SUV stolen out of Closter speeding near 16th Avenue and South 13th Street around 9:30 p.m. Friday, city police said in a release.
