Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Drug Dealer Gets 35 Years State Prison In Fatal Overdose, Burlington County Prosecutor Says A 42-year-old man from South Jersey has been sentenced to 35 years in connection with a drug customer's overdose death, authorities said.  Bryant Tayler of Pemberton Township was charged with first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death for allegedly selling  fentanyl-laced heroin, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Power Outages Black Out Parts Of Central Jersey A power outage due to severe thunderstorms and high winds blacked out neighborhoods in Monmout, Middlesex and Mercer counties, authorities said. Hundreds of residents in Cedar Village and the Commons at Holmdel in Holmdel reported being without electricity after noon Tuesday, according to initial reports. A smaller power outage affecting dozens of electric customers was reported in Edison Township, according to PSE&G.
