Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

First Responders Called To Route 9 Rollover Crash In Central Jersey Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called on a report of a rollover with entrapment in Central Jersey. The crash was reported about 8:30 a.m. near the Walmart at 1126 Route 9 in Old Bridge, initial reports said.  It was not immediately clear if the crash resulted in injuries. It was at least the firth school bus crash in Lakewood this fall, police said.  Two school bus crashes happened on Thursday according to Parch, the fourth and fifth since mid-September. Another Wawa Store With Gas Pumps Opens In South Jersey If you don't have a Wawa close by, there are increasing odds of one opening near you soon. Replete with fuel stations, the newest Wawa convenience store opened Friday at 1465 Clements Bridge Road (County Road 544) in Deptford, Gloucester County.
