Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Man's Body Found At Dangerous Trenton Intersection, Police Say A man's body was found on Route 129 in Trenton, authorities said. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Celso Rivera, suffered fatal injuries from being struck by a vehicle at Lalor Street, Trenton police spokesman Lt. Gaetano Ponticiello told NJ Advance Media. Pedestrian Killed In South Jersey Crash, Police Say A 40-year-old pedestrian from Burlington County was struck and killed on Route 130, authorities said. Teenager Shot Dead In Camden A 19-year-old man was shot dead in Camden over the weekend, authorities said. Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 2359 S. 8th St., between Sylvan and Fairview streets, on Saturday night, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S.
