Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

South Jersey Motorist Trapped In Crash, Airlifted A motorist became trapped after a crash in South Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred about 3 p.m. at Appletree Lane and Glassboro Cross Keys Road in Gloucester County.  The crash victim had to be airlifted from Bunker Hill Middle School in Washington Township to an area hospital, initial reports said.  This is a developing news story. South Jersey Firefighters Respond Recycling Plant Blaze Firefighters from multiple jurisdictions were called to a blaze with heavy smoke at a recycling plant in Mercer County, authorities said. The fire was reported about 5 p.m. on the 1600 block of Calhoun Street in Ewing, according to initial reports. Heavy smoke was reported throughout the large structure, according to an unconfirmed report.
