Oil Truck Crash In Holden Causes Road Closure; Police Ask Drivers To Avoid Area Police in Worcester County are asking drivers to avoid a portion of Main Street in Holden on Monday morning, April 3, because of a crash involving an oil tanker. The town's Department of Public Works tweeted that the wreck happened around 11:30 a.m. between Bailey Road and Salisbury Street. Police have closed that portion of Route 122A as officials clear and clean the area. They did not provide an estimated timeline of when it might reopen. Police In Central Mass Want To Speak To You Police in Worcester County are asking for the public's help to track down a man who robbed a Charlton bank on Friday afternoon, March 31, authorities said. The man walked into the Country Bank for Savings at 37 Worcester Road just before 3 p.m. He told the teller that he had a weapon and demanded cash, Charlton police said. Driver Critically Injured In Rollover Weston Wreck; Troopers Investigating A car tumbled down an embankment after skidding off of Route 128 in the early morning hours on Sunday, April 2, in Weston, authorities said. Weston firefighters responded to the single-vehicle crash on the ramp from Route 30 just before 5 a.m. and saw the car had rolled down the embankment and came to a rest on its roof, officials said in a Facebook post. Suspected Fentanyl Trafficker Has Bad Day In Western Mass: Police A suspected drug trafficker had a bad trip last week when police stopped his car and seized pounds worth of fentanyl in Hampden County, authorities said. Jose Rosado, 34, of Florence, was arrested on March 24, after police found the synthetic opioid during the stop along Route 91 in Holyoke, Massachusetts State Police said on Friday, March 31.
