Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Wrong-Way I-84 Driver Strikes Trooper, Police Say A man under the influence driving the wrong way on Interstate 84 led police on a chase which ended when he intentionally struck a state trooper, according to authorities. Michael Newman, age 35, was charged with assaulting a police officer, driving under the influence, reckless driving, and three other offenses. Accused Again: Two More Ex-Cuomo Aides Make Sexual Misconduct Allegations Two more former aides to Andrew Cuomo are accusing him of sexual misconduct, bringing the number of women who have publically said they were sexually harassed by the New York governor to five. Truck Driver Injured After Vehicle Bursts Into Flames At Fairfield County Shopping Complex A service truck driver was injured after his vehicle burst into flames at a busy shopping complex in Fairfield County. Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Westchester Shooting A suspect has been nabbed in a fatal shooting that happened overnight in Westchester. Just before 9 p.m. on Friday, March 5, police officers responded to 157 Warburton Ave. in Yonkers on a report of a shooting incident. Dog, Cat Rescued From Burning Long Island Home A dog and cat were rescued after a fire broke out at a Long Island house.
