X-Planations: Chef Peter X. Kelly Serves Up Roast Pork YONKERS, N.Y. -- This recipe was inspired by a meal my mother often served when company was expected. She'd roast fresh ham or leg of pork for six to seven hours until it was severely overcooked, then serve with potatoes that had been cooked earlier in the day. Have You Filed Your Taxes Yet, Norwalk? FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County, have you filed your income taxes yet? If you answered, "no," you're not alone. As of April 1, 42 percent of those surveyed by TechBargains.com, a tech-focused deals site, had not filed their taxes. Nearly 10 percent, in fact, said they don't intend to file until April 15. Pleasantville Foundation Sells Abraham Lincoln Memorabilia To Yale PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville-based Meserve-Kunhardt Foundation, which, for five generations, has collected Abraham Lincoln and other Civil War era photographs and mementos recently sold a large portion of its collection to Yale University.
