Stamford Man Charged With Stealing, Pawning Friend's Family Jewels
STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man faces charges in connection with the theft of jewelry and other valuables belonging to a family in Westover that befriended him, police told the Stamford Advocate.Maximilian Campbell-Owoniya, 21, was charged with second-degree larceny, according to the Stamford Advocate. He had been staying in the home of the family for several months when family members noticed that jewelry was missing from a safe, according to the Stamford Advocate. Wal-Mart Stores To Test Ride Sharing Services For Home Deliveries
Wal-Mart Stores will start "within weeks" to test ride-sharing services Lyft and Uber in Denver and Phoenix respectively, according to a company announcement, reported Supermarket News. The company has tested "quietly" a partnership with Deliv for delivery to business members in Miami, the Supermarket News report said.
