Westchester Student Takes Part In New Treatment For Peanut Allergies IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- An Irvington 10-year-old who has a peanut allergy is taking part in oral immunotherapy to treat it, according to the New York Post.  In the therapy, Danny Hyman, one of 60 kids participating in the treatment, consumes daily a "tiny portion" of peanut protein to overcome his allergy, according to the New York Post. The therapy is conducted by Dr. Jonathan Bell, of Danbury, an allergist, the newspaper reported.
