Suffern Police Officers, K-9 Visit Local Schools
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The Suffern Police Department paid visits to talk to st students about the department at two Suffern schools Wednesday. Officers, along with the department's K-9 Unit, a patrol car, and the Rockland County SWAT vehicle, visited with students at Sacred Heart School and Richard P. Connor Elementary School.

Rhinebeck Festival Features 200-Plus Artists
RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- The Rhinebeck Arts Festival has new summer dates, June 25 and 26 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck. Westchester Student Takes Part In New Treatment For Peanut Allergies
IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- An Irvington 10-year-old who has a peanut allergy is taking part in oral immunotherapy to treat it, according to the New York Post. In the therapy, Danny Hyman, one of 60 kids participating in the treatment, consumes daily a "tiny portion" of peanut protein to overcome his allergy, according to the New York Post. The therapy is conducted by Dr. Jonathan Bell, of Danbury, an allergist, the newspaper reported.
