But an error by Bridgeport police compounded by a state judicial clerk mistake means the students could be left with criminal records even after each of them paid the $200 fine, the Post said. Police: Driver Sped Through Danbury Construction Zone, Crashed DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man and his passengers were charged in an car crash Friday when the car he was driving allegedly sped through a construction area on Lake Avenue, said WLAD-AM Radio. Police ultimately charged Henry Scozzafava, 18, who reportedly sped through the construction area, which was "clearly marked," said the WLAD-AM report. A police officer said he tried to slow down and stop the car, but it didn't; it then swerved and sped away, according to WLAD-AM Radio.
