Danbury Police Arrest Knife-Wielding Man Who Smashed Up Pawn Shop
DANBURY, Conn. -- A city man has been charged in a knife-wielding incident Tuesday morning at a pawn shop in Danbury, according to police.
Officers responded about 9 a.m. Tuesday to Yankee Peddler & Pawn Shop, 139 Main St., for a complaint of a disturbance, police said.
When they arrived, officers saw the front window glass door of Yankee Peddler & Pawn get broken out from the inside, said police. Edward Perez-Guzman, 23, of Danbury then came out through the broken door, police said.
That's when officers saw a 12-inch knife in Perez-Guzman's right hand, said police.
