Tour New Canaan's Grace Farms, Modern Houses At Historical Society Event
NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A modern house tour and cocktail party, "Modern: A Way of Thinking" is set for Saturday, May 14 at Grace Farms, New Canaan.The tour will feature homes designed and renovated by Philip Johnson, John Black Lee, Eliot Noyes, Hariri & Hariri, Kengo Kuma, Joeb Moore, Toshiko Mori, Amanda Martocchio and others.
The program begins at 8:30 a.m., with check-in and a continental breakfast.

'Max And Ruby' Author, Family Fun Planned At Chappaqua Kids' Carnival
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- A children's carnival, "funraiser," is planned with special guest author Rosemary Wells, to benefit Chappaqua Children's Book Festival (CCBF) on Sunday, May 1, 1 to 4 p.m. at 586 King St., Chappaqua.The Sept. 24 CCBF will feature more than 85 popular authors, who bring your favorite characters to life.
Sunday's carnival offers family fun with Rosemary Wells, of Max and Ruby fame, a special guest. There will be Kiwi Country Day Camp's gaga pit, blow-ups, carnival games, plus raffles and refreshments at the carnival.

Registration Open For Kids In Mount Vernon Summer Camp
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A six-week summer camp is now open for registration in Mount Vernon.The city's Summer Camp 2016 cost is $550.00 for the six weeks; early bird rate is $450.
All registration is on a first come, first served basis. The Junior Camp for Ages 5-8 meets at Traphegan Elementary Senior Camp and for ages 9-12 at Holmes Elementary, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp runs Monday, July 5 to Friday, Aug. 12. Activities include basketball, kickball, baseball, arts and crafts, trips, weekly swimming and more.
