The competition is a prestigious recognition initiative for creative teens, and source of scholarships for young artists and writers. Junior Violet Fearon received six awards in writing: 2 Gold Keys in Short Story (Henrietta) and Humor (Jesus Christ College Applicant), 2 Silver Keys, and 2 Honorable Mentions. Wilton Mother Accused Of Taking Kids' Social Security Benefits WILTON, Conn. -- Wilton police responded to an investigation into a Wilton woman alleged to have taken around $50,000 from Social Security benefits of her two children who are minors, according to the Wilton Bulletin. The U.S. Social Security Administration assembled an investigative report, information police used to obtain a warrant to arrest Jane Powell, 56, said the Bulletin. Stamford Judicial Court issued the arrest warrant for Powell, the Wilton Bulletin reported.
