The Region 9 school district serves Easton and Redding. Students in Jessica Blau's class at Lee F. Jackson Skyped with children's author Melissa Guion, author and illustrator of "Baby Penguins Everywhere" and "Baby Penguins Love Their Mama."  At the Jackson, Highview and RJ Bailey Schools, students enjoyed volunteer readers who came into classrooms to read books aloud.
