NEW CITY, N.Y. – The New City Rotary Club offers a host of networking opportunities and charities to make connections. Its 60 members are a diverse group of men and women of all ages and backgrounds. Poughkeepsie Apartment Fire Displaces Two
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Two people who reside in a Poughkeepsie apartment complex are without a place to live because of a Monday evening bedroom fire, according to a report in the Poughkeepsie Journal.Firefighters arrived within five minutes of getting a 911 call, which saved the building, Arlington Fire Chief Tory Gallante told the Poughkeepsie Journal. BUCHANAN, N.Y. -- A leak is the reason for increased tritium amounts in groundwater on the site of the Indian Point nuclear power plant in Buchanan according to lohud.com.The leak was uncovered last week by an inspector in a building's basement by a water storage tank, said lohud.com.
