Chappaqua Board Of Education Approves School Calendar CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua Board of Education voted to approve the the 2016-2017 School Calendar at its special meeting Feb. 11. This year, New York State selected Friday, June 23 instead of Thursday, June 22 as Regents Rating Day.  This decision allowed the District to develop a calendar that brings students back after Labor Day, builds in five snow days, and still have 185 school days (181 student days, plus four Superintendent Conference Days).
