New Paltz Store Clerk Charged With Selling Liquor To Minor NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- One business of 20 investigated in the Town and Village of New Paltz by New Paltz Police was accused of selling liquor to a minor, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.The clerk of that business was reportedly charged with violating the state's Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, the Poughkeepsie Journal article said. McKenna was born in City Island, N.Y., and lived in Waldwick for more than 61 years, raising his family.  He served in many public offices, including the Waldwick Board of Education, Waldwick Planning Board and Waldwick Zoning Board. Certain Walmart stores are reportedly recalling 89,568 pounds of beef products sold because of alleged "contamination with extraneous wood products," according to Supermarket News. An ingredient with "foreign material" turned up in the Sam's Choice Black Angus Vidalia Onion products, said to Supermarket News. Thomas "TJ" Tunney, a 31-year veteran of the Wilton Police Department, who recently died from cancer. After he was diagnosed with cancer, his fellow officers set up a fund to help him with his medical bills and other expenses.
