NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan High School Principal William Egan praised students at a Kiwanis Club event for their excellence in academic and athletics, but also because they're "respectful to others," according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

Police Charge Congers Man With New City Office Break-in
NEW CITY, N.Y. -- A Congers man was charged in an office break-in Saturday in New City, according to police.
Jonathan Vilches, 19, was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, and possession of burglar tools, a misdemeanor, according to police.
Police responded at 10:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a burglary at 151 N. Main St., said police.
