The newspaper reports pre-K through eighth-grade enrollment figures in 2007 of 1, 178, at its peak, and now is 921. The decline over the last five years is around 3.5 percent a year and is expected to go down at a rate of 2.9 percent annually over the next five years, the newspaper reports.
