Orangeburg Woman Pulled Over For Using Cellphone Charged With DWI
ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- An Orangeburg woman is in jail following several charges early Saturday, including driving while intoxicated, that followed being pulled over for using a cellphone, according to Orangetown police.
About 4:20 a.m., Helena J. Yoo, 29, was stopped after allegedly being observed operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device, the cellphone, police said.
Yoo allegedly failed field sobriety tests at the scene and was transported to Orangetown headquarters, where she also allegedly failed a breath test, according to police.

Adele Menzer Of Maywood
MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Adele Menzer (Sichau), a lifelong resident of Maywood, died Friday, Dec. 18.She was predeceased by her husband, “Harry” and her brother, Alfred.
Menzer is survived by her “special cousin,” Elsie Rieck, of Maywood; and many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was a private secretary at Uniroyal in Rockerfeller Center in New York City, before her marriage and a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Maywood.
A funeral service is scheduled for at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church 120 E. Pleasant Ave., Maywood.

Wayne M. Wojcik, 66, Of Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Wayne M. Wojcik, of Hawthorne and formerly of Ridgewood, died Dec. 16. He was 66.Wojcik is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Brydon); son, Jeffrey (Sarah); granddaughters, Zoe and Abigail; brothers, Mark and Michael; and parents, Matthew and Julie (Pardenek).
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
Wojcik was product manager at AT&T Wireless in Paramus.
He was a past Scout Master of Troop 7 in Ridgewood.
He served on the Ridgewood/Glen Rock Juvenile Conference Committee for more than 20 years.
