Donate Wreaths In Pelham To Remember Veterans During Holidays PELHAM, N.Y. -- The holidays are a time to remember the "ultimate sacrifice" veterans have made for our country, say organizers of a wreath collection drive set for Saturday, Dec. 5 in Pelham.Wreaths will be collected at two locations by Civil Air Patrol cadets and the Pelham Funeral Home for a national effort, Wreaths Across America. Orchards from there provide some of the fruit for an apple brandy the company began producing in 2015, according to the New York Times. Owners Yoni Rabino and Noah Braunstein have spent a lot of time bird-watching in the region, says the New York Times.
