Music Shabbat Series Begins In Ridgefield RIDGEFIELD, Conn. --The Music Shabbat Series will begin Friday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Shearith and Jewish Family Congregation, 46 Peaceable St. in Ridgefield. The guest artist will be Adrianne Greenbaum, professor of flute at Mount Holyoke and founder of Klezical Tradition band.  Greenbaum will return on Friday, Dec. 11, for a special Ruach Shabbat Hanukkah Celebration at 7:30 p.m. The community is invited to attend both evenings. Francis J. Ofsharick, 90, Formerly Of Hasbrouck Heights HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Francis J. "Frank" Ofsharick, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights and Jersey City, died Friday, Nov. 6. He was 90. He was born in Glen Carbon, Pa. to Joseph and Catherine Ofsharick. Ofsharick was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1943-46. Before retiring in 1981, he was a firefighter for the Jersey City Fire Department for 30 years. In his retirement years, he was a driver for Drug Guild in Secaucus and worked at Siegel's Hardware in Wood-Ridge. Ofsharick was predeceased by his wife, Claire Dorothy (Griffen) Ofsharick, as well …
