Bring Food, Turkeys To Friday's Shelton v. Hamden Game SHELTON, Conn. -- Seniors at Shelton High School are asking anyone attending the Shelton v. Hamden High School football game Friday, Nov. 13, to bring a donation of a turkey or nonperishable food item.Friday is Senior Night and the food drive is in memory of Audrey Dryer. Donations will help support the Shelton High School Food Bank, which will then donate food to families in need of a Thanksgiving dinner.

Bridgeport Police Arrest Driver Clocked At Over 120 MPH BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A man in a rental car preparing to drag race on a highway was arrested on multiple charges after zooming off at speeds of over 120 mph, Bridgeport police said Tuesday.  The incident began at about midnight Monday, Nov. 9, when officers saw multiple cars stopped in the middle of Route 8/25, near Exit 5, preparing to illegally street race, police said.
