Francis J. Ofsharick, 90, Formerly Of Hasbrouck Heights
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Francis J. "Frank" Ofsharick, of Wood-Ridge, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights and Jersey City, died Friday, Nov. 6. He was 90.
He was born in Glen Carbon, Pa. to Joseph and Catherine Ofsharick.
Ofsharick was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1943-46. Before retiring in 1981, he was a firefighter for the Jersey City Fire Department for 30 years. In his retirement years, he was a driver for Drug Guild in Secaucus and worked at Siegel's Hardware in Wood-Ridge.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Joseph A. Cervone, 87, of Glen Rock, N.J., died Saturday, Nov. 7.
Cervone was born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. He resided in Glen Rock since 1968. He was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock. An animal lover, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Prior to retiring, Cervone was an accountant.
He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn D. Cervone.
Cervone is survived by sons, Richard Cervone and David Cervone (Anne); siblings, Dominic Cervoni and Catherine Mackenzie; and six grandchildren.

Alice F. Marinos, 87, Of Glen Rock
GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Alice F. (Foss) Marinos, of Murray Hill, N.J., died Saturday, Nov. 7. She was 87.Born in Elizabeth and raised in Maywood, she resided in Murray Hill for 60 years before moving to Glen Rock three years ago to be with family.
Marinos was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Jersey City and on the National Board of Realtors. She enjoyed real estate investing and spending time with family and friends. Prior to retiring, her career as a Realtor with Burgdorf Realty spanned many years.

Croton Film Critic Will Host Film Series In Port Chester
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Sneak PreviewFilm Series is set to begin Dec. 8 at AMC Loews Port Chester, 40 Westchester Ave., Port Chester.
The series is led by Talk Cinema curator/host and Croton-on-Hudson resident Harlan Jacobson, who is an on-air film critic for NPR affiliate WBGO-FM and contributing editor of FILM COMMENT MAGAZINE, published by The Film Society of Lincoln Center.
The 2015-16 season dates are Dec. 8, Jan. 12, Feb. 2, March, 1, April 5 and May 3 at AMC Loews Port Chester.
General admission is $20; $10 for students. Season tickets are available.
