Author Of 'American Injustice' Lectures At Mercy College
DOBS FERRY, N.Y. -- The Center for Social & Criminal Justice along with Mercy College will present "American Injustice; Mercy, Humanity and Making a Difference," Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the college rotunda, 555 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry. Bryan Stevenson, a human rights attorney, activist and the executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative will lecture and sign copies of his book, "Just Mercy."

Caregiver Conference In New Rochelle Centers On Challenges

Police Seek Suspect In Stamford Shooting; Victim In Critical Condition
STAMFORD, Conn. — A man was in critical condition after he was shot three times Sunday evening in Stamford, according to police.Police responded to the area of 84 Myano Lane on reports of a male shot several times, Stamford police said.
When officers arrived at 7:24 p.m. the victim, a 25-year-old man from White Plains, N.Y., was suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso, left arm and left leg, according to police. He was transported to Stamford Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery, police said. He was in critical but stable condition on Monday, according to police.
