Theodore Landock Jr., 56, Bridgeport Native
BRIDGEPORT, Conn --Theodore J. Landock Jr., a native of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, Oct. 27 in Erie, Pa. He was 56.Landock was born Oct. 13, 1959, in Bridgeport, to the late Theodore and Mary Landock.
Landock is survived by his wife, Pam, of Erie, Pa.; sons, Keith Landock (Kalynn), of Shelton, and Wesston Stephens, of Shelton; brothers, John Landock (Diane), of Guilford and Timothy Landock (Mildred); and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Christopher Landock.

WILTON, Conn. -- Kenneth R. Makowka, of Wilton, died at home Tuesday, Nov. 3.He was 71.
Makowka was born May 26, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., to Stephen and Gertrude (Suska) Makowka, He graduated in 1962 from Brother Rice High School. After graduating from Bradley University in 1966, he had a successful career in sales.
In 1978, he moved to Rochester, N.Y., as a marketing executive at Mobil Chemical, and then in 1984, moved to Wilton and started his own company, Kemco Sales, LLC, a security packaging company.

'The Brave Little Tailor' Opens In Hopewell Junction
HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. -- The John Jay Proscenium will present "The Brave Little Tailor" Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at John Jay High School, 2012 Route 52 in Hopewell Junction, The play's story is adapted by Brian Guehring from the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.
The performances will be Friday, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, at 3 p.m. and Sunday, at 1 p.m.
The ticket prices are $8 for students and seniors, $10 for adults and $25 for families.

Fortina Restaurant Will Open New Westchester Location
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Simone Development Companies announced Thursday that Fortina, which already has two restaurants in Westchester, is coming to the Boyce Thompson Center, the new mixed-use center under construction in northwest Yonkers.
Fortina, which has restaurants in Armonk, Rye Brook and recently opened in Stamford, has signed a lease for 5,605 square feet of space on the main level of the 85,000-square-foot building.
