Colorful Tree Lights Up Bedford
BEDFORD, N.Y. --- A tree near the Bedford Golf Course seemed ablaze with its fleeting autumnal colors when a local resident got out to snap a picture instead of just drive by like she had earlier on Sunday. She calls it "Tree on Fire."

Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Roadwork Complete
SOUTHWEST DUTCHESS, N.Y. -- Interstate 84 travelers crossing the Hudson will be happy to know sitting in traffic may soon be over. The roadway construction that has gone on for several years on the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge is finished, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo who made the announcement on his website. EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Children in preschool to Sixth Grade are invited to join the Eastchester Rag-a-Muffin parade on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. beginning at Eastchester Middle School.The parade will go to Eastchester Town Hall where participants will get a goody bag, snacks and enjoy a disc jockey dance party. Briarcliff High School Boosts School Pride With Spirit Week
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff High School wound up the schoolwide Spirit Week Friday, Oct. 11, with a pep rally attended by students wearing blue and gold.The pep rally was an opportunity for students to support the school's varsity athletic teams. Cheerleaders performed, students participated in contests, and team captains talked about their seasons and encouraged their peers to attend the weekend's homecoming games.
