He also served as township attorney and general counsel for Weehawken. Safro was a Coast Guard veteran, who served during the Korean War. State Police Charge Man With DWI In Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- State police arrested Wilson A. Hernandez, 25, on Sunday, charging him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.Police said troopers from the Cortlandt barracks stopped the vehicle Hernandez, of Jamaica, N.Y., was operating for failing to maintain its lane of travel. Following an investigation Hernandez was allegedly found to be intoxicated, according to police. Hernandez had a blood alcohol content of .20 percent, more than twice the legal limit, and he was issued traffic tickets, police said. He is due in court Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
