LeRoy Safro, 84, of Paramus
PARAMUS, N.J. -- LeRoy Safro, of Paramus, died Monday, Sept. 14. He was 84.
Before retiring Safro was an attorney with his own practice in Union City. He also served as township attorney and general counsel for Weehawken.
Safro was a Coast Guard veteran, who served during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Irene (Gallagher); his children, Jill Safro of New York City, Joy Safro, of Paramus, and Amy Henning (Chris), of Sloatsburg, N.Y.; grandchildren, Hayden, Avery, Delaney, Elle, and Reid.

PATERSON, N.J. -- Paterson native Eileen Kowalski (Moore), died Saturday, Sept. 19. She was 91.
Kowalski lived in Pompton Plains and Franklin Lakes before moving to Boonton Township in 2011.
Kowalksi was a school teacher with the Paterson School System and a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes.

Mary Natalo, 84, of Eastchester
EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Mary Natalo, of Eastchester, died Saturday, Sept. 26. She was 84.
Natalo was born July 1, 1931 to Giuseppe and Luigina (DeFazio) Georgio in Mount Vernon.
She worked as a senior stenographer for the Mount Vernon Board of Education.
Natalo is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ralph; son, John R. Natalo (fiancée Cynthia); daughter, Anne L. Granese; siblings, Antoinette, Anna, Rocketta, Dominic, Domenica and Joseph; grandchildren, Andrew, Luke, Sarah, Nicholas, Kayla and David.

Francis W. Reynolds, 86, Of Bronxville
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. --Francis W. Reynolds, of Bronxville, died Sunday, Sept.27. He was 86.
Reynolds is survived by his wife, Anne; daughter, Jeanne (Rene) Schmidt; grandchildren, Erin and Lauren; and many nieces and nephews.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force for four years, he went on to graduate from Manhattan College and earned a graduate degree from Fordham University.
Reynolds had a long career at Catholic Charities of New York.

State Police Charge Man With DWI In Yorktown
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- State police arrested Wilson A. Hernandez, 25, on Sunday, charging him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.Police said troopers from the Cortlandt barracks stopped the vehicle Hernandez, of Jamaica, N.Y., was operating for failing to maintain its lane of travel.
Following an investigation Hernandez was allegedly found to be intoxicated, according to police.
Hernandez had a blood alcohol content of .20 percent, more than twice the legal limit, and he was issued traffic tickets, police said.
He is due in court Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
