Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Shooting Victim, 36, Identified In Trenton Mercer County, authorities have released the name of a shooting victim in Trenton. Pleasantville Man Gunned Down In Atlantic City A 34-year-old man from Pleasantville died after being riddled by gunshots in Atlantic City, authorities said. Jacque Sheppard Jr. was found unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.at 11:02 p.m. on Friday, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner. Jersey Shore Firefighters Search For Missing Jet Skier First responders were called to help search for a missing Jersey Shore jet skier early Monday, authorities said. An abandoned jet ski with personal belongings was found about 6 p.m. on Sunday in South Seaside Park (South Bayside and 24th avenues) in Berkeley Township, initial reports said.  On Monday morning, the water search had shifted to Roberts Avenue, reports said.
