Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Teen Admits To Stabbing Two Rockland Men On Jersey Shore, Prosecutor Says A teenager has admitted to stabbing two Hudson Valley men on the Jersey Shore during a fight last year, authorities said. Juwan Roman, age 18, of Newark, pleaded guilty on Thursday, May 13 to two counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Trenton Man Indicted For Fatally Shooting Woman In Head, Prosecutor Says A Mercer County grand jury has indicted a 40-year-old man from Trenton in a fatal shooting last spring, authorities said. Quasim Hallett was charged with first-degree murder, making terroristic threats, aggravated assault and several weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
