Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Stephanie Gregory of Galloway Township was the legal guardian of the three siblings, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner. Atlantic City Police Seize 690 Heroin Bags A warranted search of a home in Atlantic City turned up 690 bags of heroin, authorities said.  Detectives with the city's Special Investigation Section said they made a residential search in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Wednesday. Michael Thomas, 56, was arrested after detectives located 690 bags of heroin and paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics, police said. Newark Teen Pleads Guilty To Jersey Shore Stabbings, Prosecutor Says A teenager from Newark has admitted to stabbing two Rockland County men on the Jersey Shore during a fight last year, authorities said. Burlington Man Admits Possessing Child Pornography, Prosecutor Says A 21-year-old man from Burlington Township has pleaded guilty fo child pornography charges, authorities said. James Hunt, of Threadleaf Terrace admitted to the crime in exchange for a three-year state prison sentence, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Hunt entered a guilty plea last week in Mount Holly to endangering the welfare of a child, Coffina said. Bucks Dad Charged With Hitting His Child, Police Say A Bucks County man was arrested this week on charges he struck his child, authorities said. Sean Crowley of Chatham Road in Fairless Hills was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and harassment, according to police.  On Tuesday about 3:15 p.m., police met with the father who admitted to striking the child, according to police. The victim was holding an object when they were stuck, which caused minor injury.  Crowley was arraigned and released on a "no contact order," police said.

Atlantic City Man, 28, Shot In Face A 28-year-old man from Atlantic City was hospitalized on Thursday after being shot, authorities said.  At about 5 a.m., Atlantic City police officers responded to the 500 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard on a report of a man shot.  Police found the victim shot in the face, according to an initial report. Rutgers PD: Four Men Commit Knifepoint Robbery On University Campus Someone affiliated with Rutgers University was robbed at knifepoint near College Avenue late Wednesday, authorities said. He was walking at 11:50 p.m. outside 17 Bartlett Street in New Brunswick when he was assaulted by four men, Rutgers University police said.
