Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Atlantic City Police Seize 690 Heroin Bags A warranted search of a home in Atlantic City turned up 690 bags of heroin, authorities said.  Detectives with the city's Special Investigation Section said they made a residential search in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Wednesday. Burlington Man Admits Possessing Child Pornography, Prosecutor Says A 21-year-old man from Burlington Township has pleaded guilty fo child pornography charges, authorities said. James Hunt, of Threadleaf Terrace admitted to the crime in exchange for a three-year state prison sentence, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Bucks Dad Charged With Hitting His Child, Police Say A Bucks County man was arrested this week on charges he struck his child, authorities said. Sean Crowley of Chatham Road in Fairless Hills was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and harassment, according to police.  On Tuesday about 3:15 p.m., police met with the father who admitted to striking the child, according to police.
