Man Sexually Assaulted Woman In Jersey City: Prosecutors Vernard Doe, a 43-year-old man was arrested on Friday, July 14 for sexually assaulting a 29-year-old woman in June, prosecutors said. The sexual assault occurred inside a building on Martin Luther King Drive in Jersey City, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Doe was known to the victim, Suarez said.  Doe was charged with numerous counts of sexual assault and was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office in Secaucus.
