Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect At Large After Long Island Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight An investigation is underway after a man was shooting and killed in broad daylight on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened Wednesday, July 21 at around 11:40 a.m. in Wyandanch. Suffolk County Police responded to a 911 call reporting that someone had been shot in the rear lot of 1527 Straight Path. Man Critically Injured Falling Off Ladder At Long Island Home A man was critically injured after falling off a ladder of a Long Island home. The incident happened Tuesday, July 20 at approximately 11:45 a.m. in the hamlet of West Hills in the Town of Huntington. A 55-year-old man was cleaning windows on an extension ladder at Green Meadow Lane when he fell, Suffolk County Police said. Nassau County Police say the discovery was made around 9 a.m.on Tuesday, July 20 on the Meadowbrook Parkway in Uniondale.
