Unruly Behavior At Bucks County Carnival Prompts Chaperone Policy Unruly behavior at the Neshaminy Mall Carnival has prompted safety changes, police announced. Citing a night of "unacceptable activity" on and around the carnival grounds, Bensalem police and Dreamland Amusements will be implementing a chaperone policy for all children under 18 years old. Helicopter Helps Locate Robbery Suspect In Alexandria A police helicopter helped authorities locate a suspect in a commercial robbery in Alexandria Friday, May 12. The initial incident happened on the 3500 block of Mount Vernon Avenue, bringing a large police presence to the scene. Police said only that a search was under way at 1:30 p.m. Fifteen minutes later, thanks to the assistance of a Fairfax-1 helicopter, a person of interest was in custody, authorities said.

Baby Trapped In Crib Dies In Berks County House Fire A 1-year-old girl trapped in her crib died in a Berks County house fire over the weekend, officials said. Crews responded to the blaze on Philadelphia Avenue in Cumru Township around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13. The flames had spread to surrounding homes and all occupants were evacuated, except for the baby, who was found dead in her crib on the third floor of one of the homes despite rescue efforts, 6abc reports. The cause has been preliminarily identified as an electrical issue.

Murder: Serial Robbers Charged In Fatal Newark Shooting After Police Pursuit Two serial robbers from Irvington have been charged with murder in connection with a Newark shooting after a police pursuit, authorities announced.
