Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Pup Rescued From Near Drowning After Beaver Chase Into Maryland Lake A dog has been reunited with his family after being rescued by park police after chasing a beaver into a Maryland lake, authorities say. Support Pours In For Maryland Adventurer Airlifted To Hospital After Hiking Accident A community has come together to support a Maryland adventurer as he fights for his life after suffering a traumatic brain injury during a hiking trip, according to a GoFundMe. Paul Loebach is "no stranger to adventure", and was looking forward to the hiking trip that left him in critical condition. Baltimore Killer Arrested, Charged With First Degree Murder: Police Police have arrested a man connected to a murder investigation in Baltimore, authorities say. Donte Simms, 44, was taken into custody around noon Wednesday, Aug. 30 in the 300 block of N. Paca Street in connection to a murder earlier this month, according to Baltimore police. Teen Arrested After Shooting Students Outside DC School A 15-year-old gunman has been taken into custody after shooting two students near a public charter school in Washington DC, authorities say. Amazon To Shutter The Doors At Two Warehouses In Maryland: Report Over 300 Maryland Amazon employees have been given the option to transfer their positions after the shopping giant announced the closing of two of its Baltimore delivery stations, reports WBAL TV. Amazon will be closing the Hanover and Essex locations after the opening of several new and upgraded facilities nearby that include onsite parking as well as breakrooms with Canteen vending, continues the outlet.
