Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Latest Victim Of Fatal Temple Hills Shooting Identified Police have released the name of a victim who has died after being shot earlier this month in Temple Hills, authorities say. Anton Meachum, 29, succumbed to his injuries on Monday, Aug. 29 after being shot in the 2600 block of Colebrook Drive on Sunday, Aug. 14, according to Prince George's County police. The 2022 Raccoon Oral Rabies Vaccination Project began on Monday, Aug. 29 and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30. The goal is to immunize thousands of wild raccoons by placing approximately 84,500 baits containing the vaccine throughout Anne Arundel County, according to the Anne Arundel County Department of Health.
