Second Season Of HBO Series On Julia Child Filming In Brookline An HBO series based on the life of celebrated chef Julia Child will film in Brookline this week, a note from the production team says. Several residents in Brookline received a note this week that explained the "Julia" filming schedule and how it could affect them. Though, the neighborhood for the shoot was blocked out. Former Revere Man Stole $2.5 Million In Covid-19 Relief Money: Feds A 34-year-old former Revere man stole $2.5 million in federal Covid-19 relief funds, the U.S. Attorney's Office said on Tuesday, Aug. 23. Vinicius Santana, 34, of Boca Raton, Florida, was charged with wire fraud and unlawful money transactions, the federal prosecutor's office said. Officials said Santana owned the Massachusetts-based painting company Complete Home Care, LLC and applied for Paycheck Protection Program loans four times. Lufthansa Flight From Newark Makes Emergency Landing In Boston: Report A flight out of Newark made an emergency landing at Logan Airport on Monday night after the pilot saw smoke in the cockpit, NBC Boston reports. Lufthansa Flight 403 landed just before 10:30 p.m. after the pilot declared an emergency. The plane diverted to Boston after a "technical irregularity" caused smoke in the plane, the report said. Trooper Dives To Safety As Fleeing Woman Barrels Through Barricade: Police A Massachusetts State Trooper was nearly run over on Monday, Aug. 22, after a fleeing woman drove through a police barricade on I-93 in Norfolk County, authorities said. 45-Year-Old Dracut Man Busted Selling Fentanyl Out Of His Car: Police A 45-year-old Dracut man was arrested and charged last week with selling fentanyl out of his car at work, authorities said. Kelvin Sanchez Baez faces charges after police said they saw him selling the drug out of a black Honda Civic at 95 Main St. on Tuesday, Aug. 16. Police arrested him two days later, the Tewksbury Police Department said. Authorities ID 28-Year-Old Father Shot, Killed In Boston: Police Boston police recently identified the 28-year-old man who died in a shooting last week in the South End area of the city. Dion Ruiz was found around 10 p.m. on Aug. 13 near 58 West Dedham Street with a gunshot wound, Boston police said. Responders rushed him to the hospital, where he died.
