Power Knocked Out For Hundreds In Eatontown, Crews Investigating
More than 500 customers were without power in a Monmouth County borough, officials said. According to the outage map for Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L), at least 585 customers lost electricity near the intersection of routes 35 and 36 in Eatontown, as of 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Eatontown police said it was unclear what caused the power outages but no vehicle crash had been reported. JCP&L crews were responding to the scene. JCP&L said power should be restored by around 2:30 p.m.

Man Stopped Moving Car, Threw Rocks In Attempted Atlantic County Carjacking: Police
A Mays Landing man was arrested after he tried to steal someone's vehicle and threw rocks at it in Atlantic County, authorities said. Absecon police responded to a carjacking incident happening on Route 30 just before 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, the department said in a news release. Deshaun Washington, 31, was accused of walking into the road and disrupting traffic. Four Inches Of Snow Forecasted Along Jersey Shore Overnight
Many parts of the Jersey Shore avoided the snow during a pre-Valentine's Day winter storm, but the coast doesn't appear to be dodging it this time. The National Weather Service said the Jersey Shore could see two to four inches of snow overnight and in the morning on Saturday, Feb. 17. All counties in South Jersey are under a winter weather advisory for the duration of the storm, with some winter storm warnings expected. Man Wanted For Attempted Murder Of Atlantic City Convenience Store Worker
Atlantic City police are looking for a homeless man who's wanted for attempted murder, authorities said. Francisco Bonilla, 34, of Atlantic City, is accused of stabbing a convenience store employee, the city's police department announced on Friday, Feb. 16. Bonilla was believed to be homeless and in Atlantic City. Officers responded to a stabbing on the 100 block of North Rhode Island Avenue at around 8:18 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3. Dogs Up For Adoption After Escaping Hoarding Situation In Atlantic County
Several dogs rescued from an Atlantic County hoarding situation are ready to find their forever homes. Some of the 25 dogs saved from a Galloway home are now up for adoption, the township's police department said on Thursday, Feb. 15. $1.4M To Expand License Plate Readers In Atlantic City
Atlantic City is getting a more than $1 million expansion to automated license plate readers in the city, officials said. State police will receive $1.4 million to buy and install 120 more license plate readers throughout Atlantic City, Attorney General Matthew Platkin announced on Thursday, Feb. 15.
