Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

South Jersey Police ID Man Killed In New Year's Day Crash The 57-year-old man killed in a New Year’s Day crash with a tractor-trailer in South Jersey has been identified.  Jose G. Morocho Lalvay of Camden was driving south on Route 130 when he ran a red light at the intersection of Andover Road, according to Cinnaminson police. Morocho Lalvay hit another vehicle and then crashed into the trailer portion of the truck, which was making a left turn onto Route 130 north, Cinnaminson police said. Morocho Lalvay was pronounced dead at the scene of the 7:30 a.m. crash.  No one else was hurt.

South Jersey Man Admits Killing Atlantic City Woman, 56: Prosecutor A 58-year-old man from Pleasantville has admitted to killing a woman in Atlantic City in 2018, authorities said. Mark Huff, 58, pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter for the homicide of 56-year-old Vernell K. Vance, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill.
