Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Homicide Investigation Launched After Man Found Dead In Long Island Residence Police have launched a homicide investigation after a body was found in a Long Island resident. Third Precinct police responded just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 for an aided at an abandoned residence in New Cassel at 1113 Broadway. Upon police arrival, officers observed a Hispanic man in his 30s deceased in the rear of the structure. Detectives were then called to investigate a homicide. No further details are available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Suspect At Large After Bank Robbery Inside Long Island Stop & Shop A suspect is at large after a bank robbery inside a Long Island supermarket. It happened on Sunday, Feb. 2 just after 11:30 a.m. in Farmingville. A man entered People’s United Bank, inside Stop & Shop, located at 2350 North Ocean Ave., at 11:36 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash, Suffolk County Police said. Know Him? Man Used Counterfeit $100 Bill At Area Stop & Shop Do you know him? New York State Police from the Somers barracks are asking the public's help in the investigation of fraudulent activity at an area supermarket. Investigators are attempting to locate and identify the man shown in the two photos above. An investigation found he entered the Stop & Shop on Route 6 in Baldwin Place, on Thursday, Jan. 23 at around 4:30 p.m. and produced a counterfeit $100 bill. Woman Drove Drunk With Three Children In SUV At Long Island Shopping Center, Police Say A woman drove drunk at a busy Long Island shopping center with three children in the SUV, police said. It happened Saturday, Feb. 2 just before 9 p.m. in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County Police said. Woman Killed, Child Injured In Meadowbrook Parkway Crash Involving Drunk Driver, Police Say A woman was killed and a child injured in an overnight crash involving a drunk driver on the Meadowbrook Parkway, police said. It happened just after midnight on Sunday, Feb. 2 north of exit M7 in Hempstead.
