2 Teens Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Morris County Crosswalk: Police
Two teens were hospitalized after being struck by a car in a Morris County crosswalk Tuesday evening, police confirmed.
The driver, Donald Reddin, 29, had been making a left turn from Route 53 onto Hall Avenue in Denville when the victims, ages 14 and 15, were struck in a marked crosswalk around 6:10 p.m., Police Capt. Jeffrey Tucker told Daily Voice.
The teens were taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Reddin, of Denville, was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving and tinted windows, Tucker said.

Longtime Morris County resident Cesareo Zacapala Velazquez died after being struck by a car in Parsippany Saturday night. He was 36.
Born in Cuananchinicha, Mexico, Velazquez moved to the United States and had been a Parsippany resident for about 18 years, his obituary says.
Velazquez had worked in the landscaping industry at Arias Landscaping and Tree Service of West Caldwell, his memorial says.
