Easton Bank Robbery Suspect Nabbed At Allentown Motel
A man wanted for allegedly robbing a bank in Easton was found and arrested at an Allentown motel Wednesday morning, police said. The US Marshalls Fugitive task force took Daniel Buzzone, 36, into custody at the Knights Inn in Allentown (1880 Steelstone Rd.) around 9:15 a.m., Easton Police Lt. Matthew Gerould confirmed. Buzzone is accused of robbing Santander Bank on North 3rd Street just before 12:35 p.m. on Sept. 22, police said. He has been charged with two counts of robbery and terroristic threats. Buzzone is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, Gerould said.

Police are seeking the public’s help identifying the owner of a vehicle they say was involved in the theft of multiple containers of gasoline from a landscaping trailer in Northampton County. A man in his late teens or early twenties was behind the wheel of the silver vehicle pictured above when he pulled over near Skibo Road in Hellertown and stole two gasoline containers from a parked landscaping trailer around 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24, Lower Saucon Township police said. A Paterson man with a history of selling drugs was found with more than 1,000 packets of suspected heroin during a traffic stop in Warren County, authorities said. Marquis L. Wedderburn, who previously faced drug charges for hiding from detectives who saw him toss 450 bags of heroin during a foot chase in Jan. 2019, was pulled over in Hackettstown Sept. 23 following a four-week investigation into the drug’s distribution, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Rabid Fox Attacks Man’s Bike Tire In Hopatcong
A fox that attacked a man’s bicycle tire in Hopatcong later tested positive for rabies, officials said. The man was riding his bike near Brooklyn Mountain Road and Columbia Trail in Hopatcong when the fox attacked the tire on Sept. 15, according to a Facebook post from the Hopatcong Animal Shelter. A teen boy was shot dead in his hometown of Elizabeth Monday afternoon, authorities confirmed.
